Zhinus is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree with the department of electrical and computer engineering at University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). She has received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2010 and 2012 respectively. She is interested in wireless communication and signal processing with special focus on millimeter wave communications. Her research also includes neural information processing using spiking neural networks.
